Oglethorpe Historic District. The United States
Army Post of Fort Ogethorpe, Georgia, was established
in 1902 and is on the National Register for Historic
Places. Today, this area is being restored
to its original beauty. The mission of the
Post Community (Neighborhood) Association is to
promote the historic, economic, and aesthetic
value of the residential properties surrounding
Barnhardt Circle through active participation in
educational programs, sound stewardship of historic
resources, and community projects designed to elevate
the quality of life for its residences and visitors.

cabin rental.
